What is Rejuran and how does it work?
Polynucleotides are highly purified DNA fragments, obtained in Rejuran's case from wild salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) DNA using PharmaResearch's patented DOT technology. Once injected, according to the manufacturer's description, they act as a repair signal for the skin: they bind water, hydrate the tissue and support fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin. Rejuran is a regenerative preparation and does not add volume the way a filler does.
Three variants are available in Europe: the classic Rejuran, Rejuran I for thin skin and the eye area, and Rejuran S for scars and texture. Treatment areas are the face, neck, décolleté and hands. The usual protocol is three sessions roughly one month apart; the first changes become visible within 2–4 weeks and results last 6–12 months. The CE MDR certificate was obtained in 2024.

Rejuran vs alternatives
The main difference from the alternatives is the active ingredient.
